About This Program
The Voices in Action program is a dynamic drama and performing arts initiative designed for students. This program fosters creativity, confidence, and self-expression through the exploration of theater, drama, and various performing arts disciplines.
Participants engage in diverse activities including acting, improvisation, scriptwriting, and stage production, culminating in live performances that showcase their talents. Students develop essential communication skills — both verbal and non-verbal — through acting and performing, skills that are essential for success in academic and professional settings.
The program integrates STEAM connections throughout, from exploring the science of voice projection and emotional expression to understanding the engineering principles behind set design and the mathematics of stage layout. Students learn about lighting, sound design, and multimedia technology used in theater productions.
